My wife (Sheri) and I purchased out unit in 2013. Over the past few years, we have experienced numerous changes in boards and management. Recent years have been positive, and I would like to maintain and continue ongoing improvments to our shared property. I have worked over 23 years in mid-management for a national food company, residential construction partnership for five years, and assistant city planner for two years. My education consists of B.S. Housing/Urban Studies, Master of Business (MBA), and Master of Arts (MATs) Theology. Presently I am enjoying the benefits of retirement... its a good life. I look forward ot meeting and making new friends in our grand community.
Dave, our newest member of the board, is a northwest native. Born and raised in south Seattle, Dave went to school in the Highline District then graduated from Highline College with a degree in Business and then a BA in Economics at the University of Washington (go dogs). After college he went into the marine industry and eventually moved into IT as a help desk and desktop support technician. Dave is an avid competitive sailor and enjoys other outdoor activities. Dave and his wife Sandy Fox have been owners of their condo here for about 11 years.
I grew up Mount Vernon WA surrounded by the tulip fields where the Tulip Festival is held. Mom still lives on the farm. I have lived at LBE in Bldg B 106 since October 2005 and love it. Moved here for the location and the view!! I have been the Board Secretary for several years and am proud to serve you I have 2 married children and 4 grandchildren (wonderful and smart! – of course!!). Recently retired after many years as the National Sales Manager for a Cracker and Cheese company based in England. In my spare time, my hobbies include traveling, reading, sewing, and now that I have time - some gardening.
My husband and I purchased our unit in 2021. We love our home: the location (so close to our favorite Asian restaurants and grocery stores), the accessibility (Light Rail), and of course, the view (sunset!). I was born and raised in Taiwan, and my family immigrated to California when I was eight. I received my BA in Public Policy Analysis from Pomona College and later moved to Seattle to earn my Master's degree in Teaching from UW. I currently teach 2nd grade at Broadview Thomson in North Seattle. In my spare time, I enjoy biking, running, paddle-boarding, and making miniature homes. I look forward to serving on the LBE Board to help keep our community safe, beautiful, and welcoming. Come say hello!
